What is the deposit to reserve my wedding
date for the Music Services?
We require a $300 deposit to formally book your date. However, if your date is booking up fast, we will reserve it for you for two weeks as a courtesy so that you can make a decision at your own pace.
Do you offer any special discounts or promotions?
Yes. We offer a $100 discount for Friday, Sunday and all winter weddings. Dates between November thru April qualify for our winter discount. We also offer a multiple-booking discount of $100 when you book two or more services through Camelot. For example, if you choose to book both our photography and music services, you will receive an additional $100 off the second service! This offer is extends to our Video and Photobooth Rental services as well.
Do you charge extra for setup and teardown time?
No! If you have hired us for 8 hours and your dance runs until midnight, our DJ will be completely set up and ready to go by no later than 4 PM. If you require additional time, we charge a modest $45 per hour for overtime.
Can we meet with our DJ in advance?
Absolutely. Since such a large part of our business is referral based many of our clients do request a specific individual for their wedding. We always try to accommodate such requests whenever possible. However we do not assign your DJ until 60 days prior to your wedding and only after you have completed our detailed online questionnaire. This way we are able to match you with an individual who we feel would be a good fit, likely someone who shares your taste in music. Finally, about a week before your wedding day, we will schedule either a face-to-face or phone consultation with your DJ to finalize all of the details.
What do the DJ's (or Music Professionals...)
wear?
We do not wear cheesy tuxedos. We dress as if we were attending your wedding as a guest. We always wear professional attire.
Do you bring backup equipment?
Absolutely! We always carry a compact emergency backup system consisting of a mixing board, dual-CD players, backup microphones, as well as a complete assortment of cables, connectors, light bulbs and batteries. Additionally, we always have a fully complete system “on call” as back up for extreme circumstances such as in a major electrical storm or power surge.
Will you provide ceremony music if needed?
Yes, provided it is at the same location. There is usually no extra charge for this service, however additional overtime hours may be required.
